SCRAPS!
At the end of August we’ve launched a separate website to differentiate between our large capacity food waste processors and the new kid on the block, the Green Machine COMPACT.
Also, we kinda liked the name SCRAPS for a food waste machine – check it out at www.scraps.nz.
Our manufacturers really have scored a European hit with this little factory, which has been designed to work seamlessly in the food waste stream of any large commercial kitchen, and no doubt it will find its way into the New Zealand kitchens soon too!

Did we mention it’s small?
That’s 600 wide x 700 deep x 900 high.
It’s a smart design – a Closed Kitchen System, meaning an odourless operation, lit buttons because kitchens can be noisy! and the machine will stop operating if the bucket is not there, not fully there, or almost full.
On top of that, it cleans its own insides as well.
All it wants is water and less than NZ $ 2 a day to run.
It has a tiny footprint compared to other machines in its class, but it will still process 300 kilograms per hour reducing the food waste at the same volume as its big brothers, up to 80 percent.
That’s a direct greenhouse gas emission reduction, by the way. And it saves you money, too.
