Launching “SCRAPS”

The new mighty little factory in the Green Machine range

In late August we launched the SCRAPS website (www.scraps.nz) to pay particular homage to the new machine on the block – The COMPACT green machine. This little factory chews through 300 kg an hour!

Compared to others in its class (600 wide x700 deep and 900 high) it is very small indeed, and designed for a large commercial kitchen outfit. It fits seamlessly in the waste stream from scraps/plate waste to food waste, reducing the volume and the greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80 percent.

All the mod cons are there: cutlery saver, self cleaning, the three button operation has lit buttons for visual confirmation in a noisy kitchen environment and sensors for safety and to let you know when the bin is full (or not there!).

And, like all the Green Machines, no need for batching – just use when there are SCRAPS!
